last week i butchered the floor, drew a grid, and provided stacks of cardboard and masking tape and asked the kids to build a city. it may not look like much but it was one of the most creative and imaginative days we’ve had so far! and i was so pumped! they made sure to include jurassic park, a skate park, a hospital, a giant school for all ages, thor, spiderman, a block of pools, a beach, some cars, a football field and a dojo. it was thuper exciting!!!

on friday, all of the kids in the after school program wrote ‘appreciation stars’ for the staff. I only got one, but it is the sweetest thing ever!
tony is a big 4th grader who spray-sneezes and farts and is often bullied. he’s a talented boy! i think one day he will be tattooing people for lots of money
